As a member of the AIGA Atlanta Programming Committee, I co-coordinated the Poster Show for four years. In 2017, my poster entry was chosen by a panel of judges to be featured in the AIGA Atlanta Poster Show Part II: Art Director's Cut event! My poster was for Lilo and Stitch. I wanted to represent the Pelekai sisters without using their images, so I chose to use the flowers they release as Nani sings Aloha O'e to Lilo before she is going to be taken away. The scene is set in a polaroid photo format, as a nod to Lilo's chosen art form of photography to capture moments in her life.
