West Metro’s Identity was a project I took on with designer Samantha Singell for her church in Douglasville, GA. For initial sketches, I took inspiration from the facade of their building and translated that into geometric shapes. From our sketches, Sam and I rendered out three logo options to present to the congregation. While they liked the color scheme and concept we pitched them, they requested a few changes which resulted in the final curved arch West Metro Church logo seen in the first image. However, I’ve also included my favorite option at the bottom, to see how it translated from sketches to final product. The identity we provided them was beautifully translated to their website, westmetrocog.org by their web developer.
